Hey everyone,
We love seeing all of you joining the Facebook group, if you haven’t yet please click the link below and get in there.

We want to provide you all with a quick update on where things are at!
First, the BackerKit surveys are out. If you’ve completed your payments (some Pledge Over Time backers are still finishing up), you should have received yours. That’s where you give us your shipping address, and you can keep it updated there if you move before we ship. You can also pick up add-ons there, like a second mic. Unfortunately Backerkit does not allow us to send our surveys until the payment status is complete, but do not worry, this will not affect anyone’s delivery.
Now the fun stuff. I’m heading to Taiwan at the end of the month to inspect and test our final production boards. The original plan was last week, but one of our partners had a setback and needed a bit more time before inspection. Expect plenty of behind-the-scenes material from the trip (our facebook group will get the most content, so hope you’re in there!).
In the meantime, the hard cases have been made and shipped to the factory in Taiwan. We’re also hard at work on all the smaller pieces, like instruction manuals and a guided web-based setup to help you optimize your setup as easily as possible.
Everything is in motion and we’re pushing hard to deliver quickly. There have been some challenges though, mostly thanks to the AI boom. Prices have gone up, but we’re absorbing that, so it won’t be passed on to you. The biggest headache has been packaging materials for shipping chips to the factory. AI demand is eating up even the wrapping and boxes, so even when parts are available, getting them delivered has been slow. But hey, at least we get slop, right? Joking aside, everyone at Seratone and our partners are rolling with the punches and moving toward production as fast as possible.
Once inspection is done, I’ll have a much clearer picture of the shipping schedule. I’m excited to share what I see at the factory in the coming weeks, with a full production update soon after. Until then, thanks for backing us, and take care.
JP
